John Skubal served as a Republican member of the Kansas Senate from Overland Park, where he was also a member of the city council for over a decade. During his time in elected office, John dedicated his efforts to advancing key issues such as transportation, education, and responsible budgeting. Over the years, John cultivated a diverse professional background, having worked as a public school teacher, a Business Development Officer with Kaw Valley Engineering, and a Director of Campus Services with Johnson County Community College. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Emporia State University, was a founding board member of Kansans First, and enjoys spending his free time at his farm near Fort Scott.
